"The Most Beautiful 9 holes in Barry County"

Gun Ridge is the most beautiful course in Barry County and beyond! It has rolling hills winding around three ponds and centered around a natural habitat for wildlife. It is nothing to see deer, sand hill cranes, hawks and lots of other critters.

The country setting is relaxing no matter what kind of game you're having. Some who don't play choose to ride along just because it's like taking a ride in the park. Of course, everything seems better if your game is on!

We have nine holes with a par of 35. There are two par 3's, one par 5, and the rest are par 4's. Our longest hole is 460 yards from the blue, but don't let the yardages fool you. There are trees, hills, water hazards and some tough greens. That is not to deter beginner golfers. You are more than welcome and you will love the course too!

If you just want to work on your swing, we have our driving range. We also have target greens at 100 and 150 too!  Baskets are $6, $8 & $10.

Gun Ridge was conceived, designed and built by Murray (Big Ed) Schnurr & Jack Fowler in 1977. Mike & Candy Schnurr have owned & operated the course since 1999. Our goal has been, and will remain to be, to keep Gun Ridge an affordable course for the general public to enjoy.
